Packaging

Challenge:

When James Boag’s wanted to change the look of their premium larger product, glass bottle supplier, Orora, needed to find the most effective solution which didn’t involve a complete overhaul of their existing tooling and manufacturing systems.

Solution:

Orora’s innovation & design team engaged with Formero to develop prototypes based on a new-look bottle design that still maintained the same shape and weight as the previous design.

Result:

Despite its new-look proportions, the new bottle design stayed true to specific specifications in terms of its shape and weight.

Orora was able physically test the prototype bottles within their factory and avoid expensive and time-consuming changes.
